Celebrations in EYFS
This week in EYFS we have continued exploring our topic all about celebrations. Earlier in the week, the children enjoyed creating their own birthday cake art (check out the previous post on Facebook for photos!) and we have now built on this learning by making birthday balloon pictures.
The children decorated their balloons, wrote the numbers to 5 on them, and practised putting the numbers in the correct order. They also drew around their hand, cut it out carefully, and used it to look as though they were holding their balloons.
It has been a lovely way to continue our celebrations theme while developing early number skills and fine motor skills.
