Year 2 stepped into class to find mysterious space boot footprints, the moon, a confidential letter and Milky Way–style lighting! This launched our learning on non-chronological reports all about Neil Armstrong. The children then became space researchers, using iPads, newspapers, fact files and even a teacher expert to discover amazing facts. Curiosity, excitement and lots of great learning—what a blast off!
