We are now officially in meteorological spring! As winter begins to fade, the first signs of the new season are emerging across our school garden.
From delicate snowdrops pushing through the leaf litter to cheerful daffodils that brightened St David’s Day yesterday, the garden is gently waking up.
The traditional wild daffodil — often known as the ‘Lent Lily’, blooms between Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday. Daffodils never fail to make us smile and let us know that spring is on its way.
Longer days, lighter mornings and the promise of new growth… we can’t wait to see what this season brings.
