Year 1 are moving on to animals in their science topic and started by looking at them and sorting them.
We thought it might get a bit noisy (and smelly) if all the children brought in their own animals so Mrs Alcock brought in a selection of her quieter ones instead.
We played 'Guess My Animal' and tried to sort them in different ways using questions like: How many legs? What does it eat? Can it swim?
The children are already very knowledgeable so we should be experts by the end of the topic!
