Dentists and Firefighters!
This week we have kick started our new topic 'People who help us' by finding out about dentists and firefighters.
We focused on dentists to start with and found out all about the importance of cleaning and looking after our teeth. We conducted an experiment about enamel. We pretended that the apples were our teeth and that the skin on them was the enamel. We punched holes into the apples and waited a day before cutting them open to find out what had happened to them!
We ended the week with some firefighter training in our PE lesson!
