Image of Making Sense of the World

In science today we completed our work on senses by going on a sense walk around school.

We hear different birds, a dog and an aeroplane, saw colours shapes and sizes, smelled fresh air (with a little hint of mud") and felt spiky braches, smooth benches, cold railings and tickly grass.

We couldn't taste anything today but thought we may taste raspberries in the summer and maybe even snowflakes tomorrow.

We realised just how much we use our senses to find out about the world around us.

Sensational!
