We were absolutely thrilled to receive an email from Year 2 Noah’s mum telling us all about his amazing potato-growing adventure at home. What a fantastic job he has done — and his home-grown potatoes even made some delicious chips for Noah’s tea!
Here is the lovely message we received:
“Hiya,
Just wanted to say thank you and share with you Noah’s potato crop! He became especially interested in trying to grow his own potatoes after the competition at school during the summer, and yesterday afternoon we harvested them.
He’d like to show some photographs to Mrs Nelson and Mr Lomax. We made them into chips for our tea, and they were delicious!"
It’s wonderful to see our young gardeners taking their skills beyond school and continuing to grow, learn and enjoy fresh produce at home.
