Our third group of Reception children have now enjoyed their turn visiting our wonderful village library — and what a lovely visit it was.

The children enjoyed listening to stories and choosing a book each to borrow and take back to school. Learning how to scan their books using the library computer was a real highlight, and they were very proud to do it themselves.

We are looking forward to sharing the chosen books back at school during story times.

Two of our Year 6 librarians also joined us, choosing a book to read that they will review so they can recommend it to other children visiting the library — we’ll be sharing their book reviews soon!

Thank you to Trawden Forest Community Centre, Library and Shop for such a warm welcome once again. We’re so lucky to have this on our doorstep and are already looking forward to our next visit.
