EYFS Dinosaur Adventures and Mother’s Day Preparations
The EYFS children have had a very fun and busy couple of weeks continuing to explore our dinosaur topic.
They have been learning even more dinosaur names and finding out whether they are herbivores, omnivores or carnivores. The children have really enjoyed creating their own dinosaur adventures in the small world area and have been very creative, creating repeating dinosaur patterns, and making dinosaurs out of all sorts of things – even cubes.
The children have also experimented with different ways to make bridges so the dinosaurs could cross a river, testing out their ideas and seeing which designs worked best.
They have also been busy getting ready for our Mother’s Day assembly by making special cards, decorating gift bags and practising their songs and lines. The children also enjoyed visiting the pop-up shop where they could choose and buy a special gift to put inside their bags.
