Year 1 have been learning about spirals in Art. We made spirals in the air with our hands and talked about how we moved increasingly large body parts to make them. We watched an artist called Molly Haslund creating giant circles and spirals on a car park and discussed how this was temporary art and would soon disappear.
Outside we used our bodies to create our own temporary art using chalk on the playground. It made lovely patterns and added colour, but will soon be gone in the rain.
