We have had a wonderful couple of weeks at Forest School, with lots of opportunities for teamwork, problem-solving and outdoor learning.

The children took part in a learning partner walk and talk, discussing different questions, listening to each other’s ideas and agreeing on answers together. They also worked in pairs to investigate how they could create a simple den using just three bamboo sticks and an elastic band.

There was plenty of fun too! The children enjoyed hiding and finding our caterpillars and worked brilliantly in groups during a Jolly Postman treasure hunt, searching the Forest School area for items he had left behind and making links to our current English topic. ✉️🌳

It has been fantastic to see so much wonderful partner work, teamwork, communication and enthusiasm from everyone. A brilliant few weeks of learning outdoors! 🪵🍂✨
