Searching For Spring

We have been learning about the seasons in Year 1 and how we can tell by the weather and the length of the days.  We also learned that there are lots of clues in nature to tell us which season we are in.

We hunted around the playground and at Forest School for signs of spring.

We saw blossom, spring flowers, buds and catkins on the trees.  We also saw nests and bird busy collecting twigs or finding a good place.  We heard birds singing and felt the warm sun and a cool breeze.

We didn't see any lambs but we hope to see some soon.
