It has been a wonderfully busy and festive two weeks in EYFS!

The children have absolutely loved practising and performing for our Nativity. They shone beautifully as angels, confidently going up on stage and singing their special song. We are so proud of how brilliantly they performed.

We have also been very busy with lots of creative Christmas artwork. The children have enjoyed making their own baubles, decorating Christmas cards, and creating their adorable penguins. Our classroom has never looked more festive!

Drawing Club (inspired by Greg Bottrill) has continued to be a big hit - the children absolutely love our sessions. This week we began The Tale of the Gingerbread Man, which has sparked so much excitement. Many areas of provision have been transformed with a Gingerbread Man theme, and the children have been fully engaged in the story through play and imagination.

In maths, the children have continued their learning about numbers to 5 - exploring how they are made and represented in different ways. They have also been using cubes to measure the height of nutcrackers and comparing their sizes. This has been a fun and hands-on way to develop early measuring skills.

We have so many more exciting activities planned for next week and the lead up to Christmas!
