Year 5 & 6 Perform Grimm – Once Upon a Musical

Today, our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils took to the stage to perform Grimm – Once Upon a Musical for parents, families and friends.

The audience enjoyed a magical journey through the world of fairy tales, where familiar heroes and villains found themselves in a battle between good and evil. Just when it seemed the villains might succeed, good prevailed thanks to Frank, whose powers of persuasion and magical quill helped rewrite the story and ensure everyone got the ending they deserved.

The children performed with confidence and enthusiasm throughout. From the principal characters to the choir, everyone played an important role in bringing the production to life. The songs, acting and humour kept the audience entertained from beginning to end.

Preparing for the production has taken many weeks of rehearsals and hard work. The children showed commitment, teamwork and resilience as they learned their lines, songs and choreography, and they should be proud of everything they achieved.

Thank you to all the staff who supported the production and to our families for their encouragement and support. We are also grateful to everyone who came to watch and helped make the show such a success.

It was a fantastic way to celebrate the end of the year, and the children represented Trawden Forest Primary School brilliantly. Well done to everyone involved.
